The sculpture Vita/Quies (Day/Night) has two sides. Formally appearing to be divided into two parts, a base and waist-length female figure with a sun or halo behind her head, transitioning into the shape of a cross. At the bottom of the base, between two suns, an inscription reads: 'A tale of a spring morning.' Above the inscription, a symbolic composition features the rising sun, stylised trees, and birds flying in the background, with the Eye of Providence in the right-hand corner and a stylised child climbing a stepped pyramid on the left. A path of suns runs through the entire composition in the foreground. On the other side of the pedestal, an inscription between two stars reads: 'A tale of an autumn evening'. Above it is a rising new moon, Baltic sunburst crosses, a setting sun, and the Eye of God's Providence, now closed. A king descends from the pyramid, with pillar-shrines visible in front. The Milky Way extends through the foreground of the entire composition. Between this composition and the female figurem the word Quies is inscribed. The sculpture is decorative and graphic, featuring folk decoration and forms characteristic of Art Deco.
