The waters that wash the stony shores is a frequent artistic motif that Stabrowski likes to utilise in his works. However, this time he differentiates with a clear blue horizontal line and an otherworldly blueness shining from the waters, which are somewhat reminiscent of Čiurlionis’ Creation of the World collection of paintings (1905). A mysterious blueness lighting up and a rocky peak poking out of the waters become the definitive colour accent of the composition, a point of view that concentrates the viewer’s gaze and thoughts.
