Description of the World by German geographer and pedagogue Anton Friedrich Büsching (1724–1793) is a 13‑volume geographical work on Europe and Asia. The second volume, which was printed in Hamburg in 1788, describes Eastern and Western Prussia, Lithuania, Poland, Galicia and Lodomeria, Hungary, Transylvania, Republic of Ragusa, and the Ottoman Empire.
